JKSM concerned at detainees’ plight

Srinagar, Sept 3: Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement has expressed serious concern over the plight of detainees serving detention under PSA in different jails in and outside Kashmir.

In a statement, the party general secretary Abdul Rouf Khan has said the health of JKSM incarcerated chairman, DFP president Shabir Ahmad Shah and other leaders lodged in Kote Bilwal Jail, Jammu, was alarmingly deteriorating.

He alleged that the ailing detainees in this jail were not provided proper medical aid. “The main cause of their illness is the provision of sub standard food in jail,” he said.
