Unity must
This refers to the news “Mirwaiz mulls unification” (GK 1st September). Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been a strong advocate of unity of the Hurriyat factions, but somehow it doesn't materialize.Unity is the need of the hour. Mirwaiz has rightly pointed towards the loss that students suffered academically, and he is right that the struggle does not belong to any individual. Mirwaiz has rightly said that if anything goes wrong at this time when the movement has reached a crucial stage, it should not be attributed to any individual. Let us hope that Mirwaiz Farooq’s statement is taken in a positive sense and some breakthrough is seen on ground.
