DIARRHOEA REACHES RAMBAN

81 cases reported in 5 days

Ramban, Sept 5: After Banihal and Doda, the Ramban district is under the grip of diarrhoea with 81 cases reported in the area in last five days.
 Official sources said that the number of patients with symptoms of diarrhoea reporting for treatment at District Hospital Ramban has increased from the last few days.

 “Around 81 cases patients reported to the OPD section of the hospital from the last five days”, sources, preferring not to be named said. They, however, added that most of the patients were stable and were discharged after medical advice.
 Superintendent Ramban hospital Dr Ramdhan, however, termed the matter as routine. “We can term it as an epidemic as such cases are routine during this season”, he said.
