Mr. Khan or Dr. Drabu. Who outshines whom?
This has reference to recent developments and controversies related to JK Bank. One wonders as to what facts are and who has outshone whom, performance wise. Knowing a great deal about the state government, performance and efficiency is never any criterion for selection and appointments. This fact is known to all of us, and therefore, need not be elaborated further. But sacking the CEO of JK bank evokes interest and serious questions as everyone in the state is one way or the other, associated with this institution. Its success and development cannot be attributed to one single person, but many contributory factors which for sure include its officers and functionaries at all levels.
Now, coming to the statements issued by Mr. Khan in his press conference, it would be a good idea that both he and Mr. Drabu face an open forum to put forward their views and performance record. This would clear all the doubts people have and restore confidence of share holders and customers in the bank. Perhaps GK Foundation could take a lead in organizing this debate.
