11-yrs after SVO produces challan in forgery case

Srinagar, Sept 6: The State Vigilance Organization (SVO) has produced a challan against the then Principal, then senior Assistant of Hr Secondary School D H Pora and ten accused beneficiaries in a forgery case that was filed nearly 11-years ago.
A SVO spokesman said the then Director School Education vide No. DSEK/JDS/PA/625 dated Sept 23, 1999 had lodged a written complaint with the SVO that 11 persons had managed their entry into Higher Secondary School D H Pora Kulgam. Following the complaint the SVO registered a case under FIR NO. 17/1000 u/s 4(2) J&K PC Act-2007 e/q 120-B, 467 RPC and started a probe.
“During the course of investigation, record pertinent to the investigation was obtained. Besides, admitted handwritings of the officers were also obtained and referred to FSL Srinagar for expert opinion. The investigation revealed that then Principal Hr. Secondary School D.H. Pora in active connivance with his Sr Assistant had fraudulently and on the basis of false and fraud records allowed the beneficiaries to join Hr. Secondary School D.H Pora, without verifying their documents like transfer orders, LPCs appointment order etc,” the SVO spokesman said, adding that the investigation further revealed that the necessary documents produced by the beneficiaries were fake and forged, as they had never worked at the schools where from shown transferred to Hr. Secondary School D.H. Pora.
The investigation of the case was closed as proved against the following officers and beneficiaries.
Syed Ghulam Nabi Geelani the then Principal Hr. Secondary School D.H. Pora now retired of Kapran Shopian, Muhammad Yousuf Beigh the then Sr. Assistant now retired of Ahmadabad, D.H. Pora. Muhammad Yousuf Dar the then clerk of Sarnal Payeen, Islamabad.
The beneficiaries were:
Nissar Hussain Dar of Kandipora Bijbehara, Muhammad Ashraf Mir of Kateriteng Bijbehara, Shazad Ahmed Beigh of Ahmadabad, D H Pora. Abdul Majid Parray of Abdul Rehman Parray of Krindagam. Nisar Ahmed Parray of Krindagam.
Farooq Ahmed Ganie of Check Islamabad, Dil Afroza Rashid of Kulgam, Alima Geelani of Kapran Shopian. Muhammad Ashraf Parray of Krindagam and Mehmooda Rehman of Larow Kulgam.
