Pandit body blames govt for deaths
Srinagar, Sept 7: Kashmir Pandit Sangarsh Samiti has condemned the killing of Kashmiris by the men in uniform, terming it as the failure of government to take steps to stop the chain of deaths in Valley.
Samiti has expressed sympathies with the families of deceased and prayed for the recovery of injured.
“It seems that the state government has lost control on police and paramilitary forces as, on one hand, centre claims the willingness on revoking AFSPA from some parts of valley including Srinagar and Budgam districts as a token of good gesture towards the Kashmiris but, on the other hand, the state government is not making any serious effort to stop the chain of killing” Samiti spokesman said, adding “Lack of coordination between state and centre on Kashmir issue has always ensued unrest in the Valley, which has advantaged vested interests to cash it for their personal benefits.”
