Official sources said while counsel for Birdi and Lakhwinder was present, the court on Saturday deferred the hearing owing to the absence of the prosecution.
The BSF personnel are accused of allegedly killing teenager in an unprovoked firing near his residence at Nishat in city outskirts on February 5.
