Disaster Management teams set up at Vaishno Devi

Jammu, Apr 12: The Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has constituted three Disaster Management teams to deal with any situation in the vicinity of the temple nestled in Trikuta hills in Jammu and Kashmir.
 The three Disaster Management Task Force teams consist of 500 personnel drawn from the CRPF, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Public Health Engineering, the Fire Department and the Shrine Board.
 "The Task Forces have been set up to take effective steps in any catastrophic situation," Shrine Board officials said.
 "Medical facilities have been augmented at various places along the entire track to the cave shrine," they said.
 As many as 87.49 lakh pilgrims visited the shrine in 2010.
