NC stands for unity, solidarity of JK: Omar

Jammu, Apr 13:  Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has felicitated the National Conference rank and file for working in unison with the coalition partner Congress in ensuring smooth sailing of coalition candidates in the Legislative Council elections.       
 The Chief Minister while speaking to party workers here at a felicitation function organized for the National Conference candidates elected in the Legislative Council said the victory of the coalition candidates vindicated the complete cohesion between the two parties. “Future challenges on development and other fronts would be tackled in same spirit and unity,” he added.
 “The smooth and thumping success of all the candidates of coalition partners in Legislative Council elections has completely rejected the speculations circulated by some quarters in this regard,” he said and added that all prophecies and rumours about it have been nullified and proved false by the unison and complete coordination depicted by the two parties.
 He said the strong ties between the two parties were in the larger interests of the state and its people.   
 He asked the NC workers to work with spirit and dedication for the betterment and prosperity of the State.         
 Present on the occasion were Advisors to the Chief Minister, Mubarak Gul and Devender Singh Rana, Minister of State for Housing, Nasir Aslam Wani, winning NC candidates Dharamvir Singh Oberia, Master Noor Hussain and Dr Veeri and senior party functionaries.
