Srinagar, Apr 13: Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon today reviewed arrangement regarding Urs-i-Zain-ud-Din Wali (RA) being celebrated on April 16 and 17.
 In a meeting, Dr Samoon asked the chief Engineers PHE and PDD to personally visit the Ashmuqam and ensure uninterrupted supply of power and water in the shrine and other surrounding areas.
 He also directed joint Director CAPD to provide additional quota of Rice, LPG, K Oil and Sugar, besides arrange a truck load of mutton in the area.
 Dr Samoon asked concerned authorities for provision of high mass lights in the shrine area of Ziyarat-i-Zain-ud-Din Wali (RA) Ashmuqam as per the already held decision of Chief Minister.
 Dr Samoon in another meeting directed controller, Drug and Food Control organization to ensure that sub-standard and spurious drugs should not be allowed to be sold in the valley and directed them to take necessary measures in this behalf.
 He directed drug controller to take measures to ensure proper check on the use of psychotropic and schedule (A) drugs besides fluid whitener. Instructions were also given to ensure prevention of touting of patients at hospitals by chemists.
 The drug controller has been asked to ensure that fair price co-operative medical shops are established near the district and city hospitals.
 Earlier, the Divisional Commissioner also had review meeting with the representative of butcher union regarding smooth supply of mutton to consumers on fixed rates.
