‘Would Use All Our Resources For The Purpose’

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Apr 14: Day after an all-party meeting convened by Jamiat-e-Ahl-i-Hadees here sought the cooperation of United Jehad Council (UJC) to expose the killers of its chief Moulana Showkat Ahmad Shah, UJC chairman Syed Salah-ud-Din on Thursday said that it was imperative to expose the killers of Moulana Showkat for the safety of pro-freedom and religious leaders in the valley.
Describing the killing of Moulana Showkat as a national tragedy, Salah-ud-Din, according to a statement, said the UJC would utilize its all available resources to expose the killers.
Salah-ud-Din described Moulana Showkat as a religious, social and pro-movement personality and termed his murder an irreparable loss. “The UJC looks upon it as its constitutional and moral duty to ascertain the factors leading to such unfortunate incidents and expose the killers. For, such unfortunate incidents are detrimental to the interest of ongoing freedom movement,” said Salah-ud-Din, clarifying that it was very much imperative to expose the killers and bring them to justice “so that justice is dispensed to innocent persons and the security and safety of pro-freedom people in general and religious and pro-movement leaders in particular is assured. And it is also in the larger interest of ongoing freedom struggle.”
Salah-ud-Din said the role of agencies, Hindu extremist organizations, SoG and armed forces could not be ruled out in such heinous acts. “These agencies, organizations and armed forces together are all out to weaken the ongoing freedom struggle. They indulge in the killing of pro-movement leaders to create wedge, confusion and mutual hatred and mistrust among the pro-freedom people. There is, therefore, a dire need for exercising utmost restraint to foil the nefarious designs of enemy,” he said, stressing for unity among all the people at this crucial juncture.
Meanwhile, Hizbul Mujahideen spokesman Baleeg-ud-Din has also assured that no efforts would be spared to expose the killers of Moulana Showkat.
