Population increase
This refers to the article titled "Population increase boon or bane" by Dr Khalid ul Rehman. The author is right in his assertions. Population is a boon not a bane. If we talk about two populated countries in the world today, India and China, they are looked as two powerful economies only because of this population. Billions of FDIs are coming into India only because of billion plus population India has. Countries where strict family planning norms are a binding face a threat of increased old age population. The consequences will be the decrease in working class people which can have adverse impact on the economy.
