Results of IRIA association polls declared
Srinagar, Apr 16: The election results of the J&K State Chapter of Indian Radiological and Imaging Association have been declared and ratified by the Central Secretary General of the Association
In a statement, the Association said Dr Mandeep Singh Sudan has been elected as its President, Dr Sajjad Peerzada as the Secretary and Dr Tariq Gojwari and Dr Manjit Arora as the vice-president while Dr Shakil Khan has been elected as its honorary Treasurer respectively.
The Central Council members Dr Ghanshyam Dev and Dr Rajesh Sharma. Dr Sajjad Ahmed Dar and Dr Abdul Rashid Mir have been elected as the State Council members of the Association.
The Central Secretary General of the Association, Dr Jignesh Thakker in a message from the IRIA headquarters at New Delhi has expressed his pleasure at the smooth and efficient method of conducting elections by the designate election commission comprising Dr Irfan Robbani, Dr Sheikh Riaz Rasool and Dr Sanjeed Ahmed.
On the occasion, Dr Sajjad Peerzada, Secretary of the State Chapter underscored the need to bring vibrancy in the association by making it an intellectual milieu for academic exchange and technological advancement of Imaging Sciences in the J&K State.
