Guarding chastity

The article “Nightmare for women” (GK April 12th 2011) was an outstanding piece of work. It reflects that our women have developed a great sense of morality and are very much concerned about the welfare of our disintegrating values. This indicates an evolution of moral thinking which is essential for the moral hygiene of our society and was anticipated long before. It is heartening that our women are this much concerned about guarding there. The author has portrayed a clear picture of the trauma through which a female has to go while leaving home for work or something else. The girl is cautioned by her mother about the teasing that she might have to suffer while she moves out of her home. How women are subjected to a daily torture by a section of ill-behaved people is a matter of serious concern.
