RS 31 LAKH INTERIM RELIEF FOR VICTIMS: GOVT
HABBA KADAL BLAZE
Srinagar, April 17: The Government today said Rs 31 lakh would be provided to the fire victims of Habba Kadal as an interim relief of which Rs 25 lakh had been released by the Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr Farooq Abdullah from his Constituency Development fund and Rs 6 lakh by Chief Minister from his Relief Fund.
This was stated by State Commission for Women chairperson, and MLA Habba Kadal, Shameema Firdous and Minister for Rural Development who visited the area to express sympathies with the victims. They assured the fire victims that their rehabilitation would be taken up with the concerned authorities.
