This refers to the news ‘India, Pakistan to cooperate on Mumbai, Samjhauta probe.’ How long will it take the two countries to settle the issues that often bring them at loggerheads with each other? Cricket diplomacy is not enough to address the issues that India and Pakistan are confronting. It may bring the two countries closer to each other, but there are some serious issues like Kashmir which need to be resolved as per the aspirations of the people of Kashmir. Kashmiris have been suffering for the past 20 years. There must be end to bloodshed in the Valley. That is possible only when India and Pakistan will resolve Kashmir and take the separatists in Kashmir into confidence.
