J&K Bank opens business unit in Kishtwar

Srinagar, Apr 1: J&K Bank today opened a Business Unit in Nagseni, Kishtwar in presence of a rich public gathering.
Vice President, J&K Bank, Jammu North (Doda) Vagish Chander who was accompanied by Cluster Head Mohammad Maqbool, inaugurated the unit.
While inaugurating the unit, Zonal Head greeted the people for their area being brought under the ambit of Banking Services.
He assured them that the unit shall cater to their banking needs with enhanced service standards through latest technology at their doorsteps.
He asserted that the business unit will play a positive role in the overall economic development of its area of operation.
Zonal Head also assured the gathering that the B/U shall be of immense relief to the pensioners, old age pensioners, NAREGA beneficiaries and other people as they shall not have now to travel long distance.
Earlier, the Cluster Head thanked people for their support and urged them to take full advantage of the Business Unit, which shall provide them easy access to various deposit and credit schemes, affordable insurance and remittance facilities and that the Unit shall be committed to provide holistic set of all banking services under its roof.
Locals, present on the occasion expressed their happiness and thanked the Bank management for meeting their demand, the bank in a statement said.
With this unit, the number of branches of the Bank has gone to 596.
