Resettlement of Dal dwellers reviewed

Srinagar, Apr 1: A high level meeting of officers of Lakes and Water Ways Development Authority was held Friday under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon.
The meeting was attended among others, by District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, MA Kakroo, Vice-Chairma LAWDA Irfan Yaseen and other concerned senior officials.
The meeting discussed 29 cases with regard to resettlement of the Dal dwellers and also took stock of various on-going development works of the LAWDA.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the engineers to speed up the pace of the work so that the projects are completed within the stipulated time.
