Schools without PET; parents appeal govt

Srinagar, Apr 1: The parents of students studying in various Government schools in Rafiabad Baramulla have complained that these educational institutions hadn’t any physical education teachers. A delegation from the area told Greater Kashmir alleged that these teachers hadn’t been appointed only in upper belts of Rafiabad including Ludwa, Braman and Khamu. They said hundred PET were appointed recently in North Kashmir Baramulla district only. They urged the Education Minister to take immediate action in this regard. Commenting over the issue, District Sports officer Baramulla, Sarabjeet Singh termed these allegations as false saying only “11 people have joined duties while verification of other candidates is awaited. We will employ them as soon as they join duties,” Singh told Greater Kashmir.
