Work culture
The article titled ‘Of work culture and government offices’ by Hassan Mukhtar (GK March 30) made an interesting reading. I would like to add something more. It is not only the government institutions where merit is not honoured, but private sector too is toeing the same line. Sycophancy works there also. This is what is actually marring our work culture. Our system is so rude that arrogance rules the roost there. There is corruption and lethargy with the result.
