IUFA felicitates VC
Awantipora: The Islamic University Faculty Association organized a welcome function for the Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) A R Trag here on Thursday.
IUFA President, Kaiser Javeed Giri, assured the Vice-Chancellor of full cooperation to raise the overall standard of the varsity at par with other reputed universities.
The Association members apprised the VC of various issues pertaining to the University. “We are hopeful that these issues will be addressed soon and the varsity will rise to great heights under the leadership of new VC,” IUFA president said.
Prof. (Dr.) A. R. Trag asked the teachers to help improve the education standard in the University and encourage a healthy teacher-student relationship. “In coming years, IUST is going to be one of the best universities not only in the State, but in India as well,” he said.
