Interlocutors meet Guv, CM
Jammu, Apr 23: On the last leg of their week-long visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the Centre’s interlocutors on Kashmir Saturday met Governor, NN Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, here this evening.
The three-member team of Interlocutors Dileep Padgaonkar, Prof Radha Kumar and MM Ansari, currently on a visit of the State, also held a series of meetings with various political and social groups besides holding interaction with a team of Bar Association Jammu.
As per an official spokesman, during their two hour meeting with the Governor, the Interlocutors held wide ranging discussions on issues emerging from their meetings with various shades of opinion during their present visit to the state.
This was the fifth meeting of the interlocutors with the state Governor.
The interlocutors also met Chief Minister and apprised him about the progress of their interaction with various shades of opinion in the state with special reference to their current visit.
The interlocutors will conclude their week long visit to the state on Sunday. Official sources said that the panel will be addressing a media conference before leaving back to New Delhi.
