Peace in Afghanistan runs through Kashmir: Fazl

Srinagar, Apr 24: Pakistan Parliamentary Kashmir Committee chairman and member National Assembly, Moulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has said the path to peace in Afghanistan, and all of South Asia, runs through Kashmir.
 “Only with meaningful progress on Kashmir can other issues be resolved successfully,” Rehman, according to JKLF (R) statement said during an interaction with the members of Kashmir Centre, EU who hosted the PPKC delegation during their visit to Europe.
 The JKLF (R) chief patron and chairman Kashmir Centre, EU, while interacting with the visited dignitaries said the KCEU was focused both on political as well as human rights issues of the Kashmiri people. He referred to the upcoming Global Discourse on Kashmir being held in the European Parliament as, according to him it was “one of the means of keeping the Kashmir issue alive within European Union”.
 Moulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, said, “The PPKC follows the work of KCEU closely and congratulated them on their ability to keep the Kashmir issue on the European radar. KCEU was recognized as the only representative of the Kashmiri point of view within the European institutions and local Diaspora.”
 Jilal Abbass Jillani, ambassador of Pakistan in EU, Dr Attiya Anyatullah, member PNA, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, member PNA, Haji Parvaiz, president Muslim League (N), Khalid Mehmood, City president PPP and Raja Zaheer Ahmad, coordinator advisory council KCEU, also spoke on the occasion.
