Altaf dedicates PGF centre to people
Jammu, Apr 25: Forests and Environment Minister, Mian Altaf Ahmed today inaugurated the Programme Generation Facility centre (PGF) of Doordarshan at Rajouri.
Director Doordarshan, Jammu, Shabir Ahmad Buch, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, G A Khawaja and Station Engineer Doordarshan, Jammu, R K Jarangal were also present.
The centre established 11 years ago has been revamped for effective functioning with the strenuous efforts of Doordarshan Authorities including, Director Shabir Ahmed Buch.
Altaf also visited Himalya Degree College, Rajouri and reviewed its functioning. He interacted with the college management and the students.
He asked the management and staff to provide quality education to the students so that they could face future challenges.
