Srinagar, Apr 25: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday visited the Badamibagh Army Headquarters here and was briefed on the prevailing security scenario in the state by the senior officers.
 The Chief Minister met General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Srinagar-based 15 Corps Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain and other senior army officers at the Cantonment.
 The GOC briefed the Chief Minister on numerous issues including the prevailing security environment in the Valley, a defence spokesman said.
 Omar was accompanied by Chief Secretary Madhav Lal, DGP Kuldeep Khoda, Special DG CRPF Anirudh Uppal, IGP (Kashmir Zone) S M Sahai and other officers.
