63-year-old ends life

Srinagar: An elderly man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Jhelum in Islamabad (Anantnag).
 According to police, Abdul Rehman Wani 63, of Kunjikul Kulgam, jumped into Jhelum from Padshahibagh Bridge at Bijbehara.
 Wani drowned in the river and efforts were on to recover his body, police said, adding the reason behind the extreme step was not known.
