Batpora faces water scarcity
Shopian: The residents of Batpora here have complained about acute scarcity of water from the last 22 days.
A delegation said the residents were facing immense hardships and were fetching water from the adjoining areas. “Despite repeated pleas, the officials of concerned PHE department failed to mitigate our problems,” they said.
Meanwhile, the residents of Shopian town have complained of receiving contaminated water. The residents have sought intervention of Chief Engineer in this regard.
