Bus operators, shopkeepers lock horns over traffic jam

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar: A traffic jam at Bemina Colony on Tuesday triggered a scuffle between minibus operators and shopkeepers in which Muhammad Yousuf Rather dealing in electrical goods was injured.
The shopkeepers downed their shutters as a protest against, what they called, hooliganism of minibus operators who allegedly used abusive language against shopkeepers and threw stones on the shops.
Pertinently the mini-bus operators are often accused of “snail’s pace” movement on the streets which leads to gridlocks.
