NC rubbishes Mehbooba’s utterance about Bhat’s apology

GK NEWS NETWORK

Jammu Apr 26:- Expressing astound over the “brazen faced” attitude of the Peoples Democratic Party in attempting to “hide its sins” by slinging mud on others and “perpetuating falsehood,” the National Conference Tuesday rubbished the idea of harassment behind the apology tendered in the Legislative Assembly by the PDP MLA, Nizam-ud-Din Bhat for falsely accusing the Chief Minister and pointing finger towards him regarding the Ratle Power Project, circulated by the PDP President Mehbooba Mufti.
“MLA Bandipora, Nizam-ud-Din Bhat tendered unconditional and unqualified apology to the Chief Minister in the Legislative Assembly in presence of the full House and jam-filled press and public galleries for raising finger against Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah at a press conference causing damage to his high repute as a public leader and head of the Government. No member or the President PDP uttered even a word about it during the full session,” the spokesman said adding that the party President’s present statement speaks of her “sheer frustration for the exposure of falsehood” of the party.
The NC spokesman said that one can understand the tension and nausea frustration of PDP leadership for witnessing the success of the coalition government on the development front and progress on resolution of K-issue through dialogue and peaceful means as per the aspirations of people of the State, but one cannot comprehend PDP’s “schizophrenic psyche of hate” against the NC and the coalition government.
“Who does not know that the then Chief Minister, Mufti Muhammad Sayed was responsible for making the State second largest corrupt States in the country? Had he not been replaced by  Mr. Azad, Mufti Sarkar would have made Jammu and Kashmir No. 1 corrupt State in the world”, spokesman added and advised the PDP President to “feel ashamed” of talking of corruption and crimes. “Telling hundred lies to shift the guilt and liabilities on others and attempt at hiding the truth by fabrication and deceit is not going to clean the image of PDP which is an exposed political entity before the public”, the spokesman added.
He said instead of extending support to the Omar-led coalition government to curb the corruption by way of implementing the Public Service Guarantee Act 2011 recently passed in the Legislature and other measures initiated including Right to Information Act, Third Party Monitoring of Development projects and many other measures taken by the present government, PDP wants to live on “false slogans” and deceitful political mode.
