Work for JK’s better future: Mir to youth
Kunzer, Apr 27: The Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir on Wednesday urged youth to utilize their potential for the development and welfare of the state and play a positive role in making Jammu and Kashmir a prosperous state.
The Minister while addressing a public meeting here in north Kashmir said that youth are a real force who could lead the state on road to progress and prosperity adding that they should shun the differences and work for a better future for themselves.
“The government has accorded priority to the education sector and recently it approved a Degree College for Tangmarg thus fulfilling a long pending demand of the people. The college will be set up at an appropriate place,” he said.
Regarding development of Tangmarg the Minister said various bridges are being constructed at a cost of Rs 3.50 crore and asked concerned agencies to expedite the work on these bridges.
Regarding the Panchayat elections, Mir said the people should elect candidates of high integrity which is the key for the overall socio-economic development of the rural areas.
