+2 Lecturers’ Forum holds meeting

Srinagar: All Jammu and Kashmir Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum has held a meeting here with its president Dr Manzoor in chair.
 The meeting, which was attended by all the district presidents of Kashmir province and elected representatives of central body, was convened in connection with the forthcoming Lecturers’ Conference being held on April 9, in Jammu. It was decided that every district would sponsor at least 10 delegates for the conference.
 The speakers, who include general secretary Bashir Ahmad Mir, organizer Shakeel Ahmad, treasurer Mushtaq Ahmad, chief coordinator Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, advisor Syed Fayaz, on the occasion demanded immediate regularization of in-charge lecturers, grant of pay band-3, and benefit of running pattern for the cadre.
 The Forum president Dr Manzoor gave a detailed report to the representatives regarding, what he said, “the developments and progress of Jammu programme.”
 “Finally the members assured that the community has full faith in the leadership of the Forum and assured the apex body of full support to Forum’s programmes and policies,” said a spokesman of the Forum in a statement today.
