Div Com for Lal Chowk, Batmaloo, TRC facelift

Srinagar, April 2: The Divisional Commissioner, DR Asgar Hassan Samoon Saturday inspected some City areas to review projects being executed there.
 An official handout said he issued orders for repairs of Meerakshah Taxi Stand, Batmaloo by the Srinagar Development Authority.
 “He also issued instructions for repairs/renovations of the Tourist Taxi Stand No 1 ,TRC by the Tourism Department,” it added.
 “Dr Samoon also issued instructions to the Srinagar Municipal Corporation for removal of encroachment from footpath in the Lal Chowk area as well as Jahangir Chowk, Naaz Crossing, Batamaloo etc.”
 He also visited TRC, Srinagar and directed Director Tourism Kashmir to immediately initiate the work on TRC building after approval of necessary drawings.
