Professor Neelofar is KU’s new DDE

Srinagar, Apr 2:   Professor Neelofer  Khan is the new director  Directorate of Distance  Education, Kashmir University.  
 An official handout said she assumed the charge on April 1 after Prof Shafeeqa Parveen completed her tenure.
 A Gold Medalist in Education, Prof Khan has contributed for distance learning systems especially in the field   of teacher education.
 “Dr Khan has conducted a series of multipurpose programmes for the overall development of the community in the state and has received several awards,” the handout said.
 Recently she has been awarded as Best Performer in Non Formal & Extension Education by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), KU.
 She is also a member in Executive Body of Open Schools in J&K State Board of School Education.
