Srinagar, Apr 29: ٰIn its endeavour to further popularize its broadband services in the Valley, the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has come up with a unique offer for the enterprising students.
The company today said it will engage the students interested to work, for marketing its broadband commodity. The engaged students to be known as ‘professional agents’ will sell company’s broadband connections on commission basis.
“Students having minimum qualification of matriculation with some basic knowledge of computers are eligible to apply,” it said, adding that no security deposit would be demanded from the selected students.
“They will be assigned areas in Kashmir province as per their preference and paid Rs 100 for each new broadband connection. In case they install the connection they will get another Rs 100. The commission structure is subject to revisions,” the company in a statement said.
“The agreement between the selected student and the company will be purely on commission basis and the student/candidate will not have any claim for regular/temporary job in BSNL.”
