MLA castigates NC, PDP
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Apr 4: The Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Langate Er Rasheed has expressed surprise over the reaction of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and National Conference about the Dogra certificate order after the Assembly session has ended.
"It is surprising that NC and PDP have expressed concern about the Dogra certificate set to be issued to the Jammuites ,after the Assembly session is over ,though I was left alone in the House when I raised the issue in time and protested," Rasheed said in a statement.
"Every voice raised against the issuance of Dogra certificate should be appreciated as it is a serious issue but a common Kashmiri would like to know the reason for which both, NC and PDP, remained silent when I protested in the house," he said and added, “Had the other members joined the protest the disputed order may have been revoked. NC and PDP are actually befooling the people of Kashmir.”
Terming the Dogra certificate as part of some big conspiracy MLA Langate said, "On one hand Government claims to be for the unity of the state but on the other hand the same state is being divided by issuing different certificates diverting the funds which are actually for the development of Kashmir and making development task forces for Ladakh.”
He appealed all the political parties to rise above their political and personal benefits and to work for the betterment of Kashmiri people who are the victims of "misgovernance political corruption and inferiority complex.”
