Protest in Bandipora

Bandipora: Dozens of youth held a demonstration here against the alleged corruption by patwaris in the district. The protestors hailed the Deputy Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmed Lone for suspending two patwaris.
 Raising slogans in favour of DC, youth said action should be also taken against other corrupt officials. Patwaris Muhammad Shafi Lone and Abdul Rashid Parray were suspended following public complaints with regard to their alleged involvement in embezzlement, tampering in official records, provoking of employees against the administration, harassing of peasants and other charges.
