TCI Max registered as modern cement plant in Asia

Srinagar, Apr 6: Getting a shot in its arm, the Trumboo Cement Industries (TCI Max) has been registered as ‘one of the modern cement plants in Asia’ by World Cement, a leading journal on cement industry.
 The Valley-based manufacturing company today said one of world’s leading journals on cement industry, ‘World Cement’ has registered it as ‘one of the modern cement plants in Asia.’ “With this our company has got the international recognition and this is for the first time that a cement plant in JK has got such recognition,” said Waseem Trumboo, Director TCI. He said its new plant in the Valley has been designed by German based Polysius which according to Trumboo has set up plants for leading cement brands like Ambuja Cements, ACC and Ultratech Cements in India. “The Valley imports at least 5-6 lakh tonnes of cement annually. Our plant will cater to a good portion of local demand at competitive prices. Our aim is to provide world class quality cement to our consumers,” said Trumboo.
