GDC Sopore beat GDC Kupwara
INTER-COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Srinagar, July 31: In the ongoing Inter-College football championship organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, Kashmir University Govt Degree College (GDC) Sopore defeated Govt Degree College (GDC) Kupwara by 6-0 at Kashmir University ground on Saturday.
The match was completely dominated the match Sopore and they never allowed their opponents to get into rhythm.
Pertinently Sopore College have been winner or runner-up of Inter-College event from last so many years.
Last year team remains runners-up with Islamia College in Inter-College football Championship.
Study Circle organises road run
Srinagar, July 31: The Islamic Study Circle, Bemina organized road run from Nehru Park to Nishat here on Sunday.
In the event scores of youth participated. Professor Nasir Ahmad Dar wass the guest on the occasion he spoke on the various sports related things and made participants aware about the importance of sports. The event was organized to create awareness about Environment, Drug Addiction and other social evils in the society.
