PL dissociates from Pampore Chalo program

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Peoples’ League, at a meeting held here today with Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in chair, dissociated itself from press the statement about Pampore Chalo programme on August 9.
  The meeting decided that League being a constituent of Hurriyat Conference (M) would follow the programme given by it (Hurriyat) only to commemorate martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-i-Azeemat, Sheikh Abdul Aziz.
  According to Hurriyat programme, Collective Fateh Khawani will be held at Martyrs’ Graveyard at 9 AM on August 11. “Thereafter, a Majlis Muzakra will be held at Hurriyat head office here at 11 AM in which the speakers will express their views and pay tributes to Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Aziz,” said a spokesman of the League in a statement.
