Fulfill dev need of remote areas: Gul to officers

Srinagar, Aug 10: Asserting that fulfilling of peoples aspirations and developmental needs constitute prime duty of the government, CM’s Advisor, Mubarak Gul today asked the District Officers to reach out people in remotest areas for fulfilling their developmental needs.
 The Advisor who also looks after CMs grievances Cell today met with several deputations and individuals in summer capital and heard their demands and problems. 
 Gul issued on-the- spot instructions to the concerned officers to visit their respective areas and redress their grievances and genuine demands.
 Among other demands, they pleaded for early repairs of electric transformers, up gradation of link roads, better distribution of potable drinking water supply, essential commodities, adequate staff in health institutions and educational institutions employment opportunities for unemployed educated youth in their areas.
 Gul asked the people to provide peaceful atmosphere for speedy development of the state and added that government was taking every step to launch various ambitious developmental projects in the valley for which peace is imperative.
