Young Star, Gousia Club floor opposite teams

Srinagar, Aug 10: two matches were played in the ongoing 4th Shaheed-e-Millat T-20 cricket tournament at Islamia College ground here on Wednesday.
 In the first match, Young Star Cricket Club defeated Al-Fatah Athwajan by 69. Batting first Young Star scored 136 runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted overs. Tawseef with 30 and Zahoor with 25 were highest scorers for them while Rafique and Muzaffer took two wickets each for Al-Fatah.
 In reply Al-Fatah were bundled out for 67 runs only. Basharat Ali with 23 was highest scorer for them while Imtiyaz took four and Arshad took two wickets for Young Star.
 In the second match, Gousia Cricket Club Shalimar defeated Hunting Cricket Club Harwan by two wickets.
 Batting first Hunting Club were bundled out for 114 runs. Reyaz with 31 was highest scorer for them while Basharat took four and Showkat took two for Gousia Club.
 In reply Gousia Club achieved required target in 19.5 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Muzamil with 35 and Basharat with unbeaten 35 were highest scorer for them while Manzoor took three and Fayaz one for Hunting Club.
