29 cross sides on LoC
Srinagar, Aug 11: While there only a single fresh visitor from this part of the Kashmir on board the weekly Srinagar-Muzaffarbad bus service, 29 persons exchanged sides on Line of Control via Uri in north Kashmir Baramulla district on Thursday.
Official sources said that seven fresh visitors from PaK arrived through the ‘peace-bus’ this afternoon. There was no returnee from this side of Kashmir on board the bus, they said. The passengers travelled from Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pak, to Chakoti, near the LoC in Uri town and as a part of procedure, the travelers alighted from the buses and crossed the Aman Setu (Peace Bridge) on foot.
There was single fresh visitor from this part of the Kashmir on board the bus while 21 residents of Muzaffarabad returned home after stipulated stay here, they added.
