NCC, Ghazi CC emerge victorious

Srinagar, Aug 11: In the ongoing Khawaja Naqashband Sahab T-20 cricket tournament organised by J&K State Sports Council two matches were played at Radapora playing field on Thursday.
The first match of the day was played between NCC City Hunks and Diamond Sports Club was held.
NCC won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 173 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Imtiyaz scored 97 runs from just 49 deliveries with 16 fours.
In reply Diamond XI were bundled out for 44 runs. NCC won match by 130 runs. Irfan and Bilal took three wickets each for NCC .
The second match of the day was played between Gazi CC  and Nowhatta-XI Cricket Club.  Gazi CC won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 149 runs in the allotted  20 overs. Imtiyaz scored outstanding 35 runs from 24 balls with 5 fours.
In reply Nowhatta-XI chased target successfully for the loss of nine wickets in 19 overs. Thus won match by two wickets. Khalid  scored 30 runs and Shafat 27 runs for them.
