SASB reiterates health advisory

Srinagar, Aug 11: The Chief Executive Officer of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) R K Goyal has once again asked aspirant Amarnath pilgrims to have themselves medically examined.
 “No one with an orthopaedic problem, chest or lung ailment or any cardiac deficiency should venture to undertake the arduous Yatra, involving trekking upto 14,000 feet,” he said in a statement.
  He advised all the pilgrims to ascertain the obtaining weather conditions before embarking for Yatra. The details of weather forecast are available on the website of the Indian Meteorological Department, at (www.amssdelhi.gov.in).
