KCSDS concerned over ‘continued’ HR violations

Srinagar, Aug 12: The KCSDS has expressed concern over the ‘continued human rights violations’ in Jammu and Kashmir.
 In a statement, KCSDS said, custodial, arbitrary arrests and fake encounter belie the tall claims of the rule of law in the state. 
 “We urge the Government of India to end the repressive tactics of silencing the dissent in the state and deliver speedy justice to the victims’ families,” it said, adding “The GoI should also take a serious note about the news reports that the interlocutors are reducing the entire Kashmir issue to a clash of interests of the three regions of the state and obliterating the huge struggle that people in JK have launched for the past 20 years in particular and 65 years in general.”
