Wonder Guys, City Hunks defeat rival teams

4th Shaheed-e-Millat T-20 Cricket Tournament

Srinagar, Aug 13: In the ongoing 4th Shaheed-e-Millat T-20 Cricket Tournament two matches were played at Islamia College ground here on Saturday.
 In the first match, Wonder Guys Soura defeated City Boys Jamia Masjid by six runs. Batting first Wonder Guys scored 137 runs for the loss of six wickets in allotted overs. Aijaz Mir with 37 and Waseem Cruzy with 26 were highest scorers for them while Sahil took three wickets for City Boys.
 In reply City Boys fell short by six runs off the target scoring only 131 runs in allotted overs for the loss of seven wickets.
 Sahil with 61 was highest scorer for them while Zahid took three wickets for Wonder Boys.
 In the second match of the day City Hunks Bar Barshah defeated RCC blues by five wickets. Batting first RCC were bundled out for meagre total of 108 runs. Umer with 29 and Aijaz with 21 were highest scorers for them while Imran and Mudasir took three wickets each for City Hunks.
 In reply City Hunks achieved required target for the loss of five wickets. Bilal with unbeaten 52 was highest scorers for them while Moomin scored 28.Aijaz took three while Aijaz junior took two wickets for RCC.
