Hideout busted, arms recovered

Srinagar, Aug 14: Police on Sunday claimed to have recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in Awantipora area of South Kashmir.
Superintendent of Police Awantipora  Muhammed Irshad said acting on tip –off police  with assistance of 180 CRPF and 42RR today busted  a hideout at Shikargah forests in Tral.
“ We recovered 4 Chinese pistols, 4 magazines of pistols, pistol 9 rounds, UBGL shells 21, AK47 rounds 21, electronic detonators 6, IED material, HE rockets with detonator 2, Hand grenade and other war- like store was recovered from a hideout during search,” he said.
