RS Chib inspects upcoming shooting range stadium at Nagrota
Jammu, August 14: Minister for Medical Education, Technical Education, Youth Services & Sports, R S Chib had a review of upcoming Shooting Range at Nagrota in which Indoor Shooting Range, Outdoor Shooting Range and also a stadium with the pavilion is coming up.
The JKPCC authorities were directed to shift the cremation ground to alternative location which has already been agreed upon by the local people.
While addressing the media persons Minister reiterated the commitment of the Coalition Government headed by the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah that the present coalition government is committed to provide sports facilities to the youth of the state which will channelize their energies towards productive purposes and in this sports complexes at various district headquarters like Udhampur, Rajouri and Poonch and this shooting range is coming up. The JKPCC authorities have also been directed to complete all the work at the earliest possible time so that this facility is thrown open to the youth of the state.
The JKPCC authorities were advised to seek technical guidance from Sh. Dilbagh Singh, IGP Jammu and President J&K Rifles Association.
While speaking on the occasion Sh. Dilbagh Singh said that this place is ideally suited for sports events and Jammu will become one of the centres of excellence in the field of sports with the completion of the work on this prestigious project at Nagrota.

S.S. Bali, Deputy Director, Youth Services & Sports and Officers from Jammu Development Authorities.
