Kanitar Lane 9 awaits macadamization
SYED IMRAN ALI HAMDANI
Srinagar, Aug 15: The residents of Lane 9 Saderbal Kanitaar said that even though most of the lanes and bylanes in the area were macadamized last year only Lane 9 of the colony was left unattended.
The residents said: “Last year almost all the lanes and bylanes were repaired but our lane was left in shambles.”
“This lane is in a typically bad condition as many people slipped on the uneven road,” the locals said.
The residents accused the local MLA of being callous towards the area.
“We tried to contact him but there was no response from his side,” the complainants said.
They appealed the Chief Engineer R&B department to look into the matter.
