Cong deputation calls on MoS Power
Kishtwar, Aug 16: A deputation of Congress leaders today called on Shabir Ahmad Khan, minister of state for CAPD, Power, Transport and Forest, who was on his visit to the mountainous district.
The deputation demanded that the work on up coming power projects be started without any delay and the local youth be given preference in employment.
The deputation informed that the ration available at government depots is of sub-standard quality and that too is not available all the times. Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that all the genuine demands will be fulfilled.
The deputation comprised of Sheikh Ghulam Haider Vice President PCC, District President Pardeep Singh Parihar, District President Youth Congress Sheikh Nasir Hussain, INTUC president Raj Kumar Badyal, Block President Kishtwar Haji Ghulam Hassan Mir and Block President Padder Nek Ram Manhas.
